The governors proposed to dismiss for low birth rate

“Communists of Russia” proposed to dismiss the governors for the lack of natural population growth in the region. The appropriate appeal published on the website of the party on Friday, February 3.

The organization indicated on the report of Rosstat, according to which in the Nizhny Novgorod region the mortality by almost 30 percent exceeded the birth rate by 2016. “After all, what are those numbers? Regional authorities have created favorable social conditions for the population of the subject. No war, no natural disasters, and the death rate exceeds the birth rate”, — said the Deputy Chairman of the party Central Committee Yaroslav Sidorov. He stressed that the ratio of these factors should be regarded as “a decisive index of social well-being.”

According to Sidorova, if the power in the region cannot solve the problem, “no other it will not solve the problem.” “We would like to and the law was provided for the resignation of the highest officials in such cases and that was the unwritten law for the official”, — he stressed.

On December 23 last year, President Vladimir Putin said that the country has decreased mortality.

In the summer of 2016 Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Institute of demography, migration and regional development Yuri Krupnov said that Russia by 2025 awaits deeper than in the 1990-ies, a demographic hole.
