The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko today in an interview with German newspaper Morgenpost admitted that most of all wants the abolition of anti-Russian sanctions.
“Who do you think wants the lifting of sanctions? President Petro Poroshenko,” — said the Ukrainian President.
However, Poroshenko stressed that before “Russia must withdraw all its troops from the territory of Ukraine”, and the premature easing of sanctions allegedly can lead to a strengthening of the “Russian aggression against Ukraine.”
Earlier during his visit to Germany Poroshenko called for the retention of anti-Russian sanctions and called for increased sanctions against Russia, if Minsk agreement will not be implemented.
