The Supreme court of Crimea plans to question the head of the region Sergey Aksenov as a witness in the case against the member is prohibited in the Russian Federation “of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people” Akhtem chigusa, who is accused of organizing mass riots outside the Parliament building of the Republic in February 2014. This was announced by the Chiygoza lawyer Nikolai Polozov.

According to investigators, the unrest of February 26, 2014 two people were killed and 79 were injured. The organizer of the riots, the investigation and the prosecution believe Chiygoza, he pleads not guilty. As for the alleged rioters appeared before the court also Eskender Kantemirov, Eskender Amiraliyev, Mustafa degermendzhi, Ali Asanov Arsen Yunusov. Criminal proceedings against them by court decision is considered separately from Chiygoza.
