Cargo ship “Progress MS-03” sunk in the Pacific ocean

Transport cargo ship “Progress MS-03” sunk in non-navigable part of the Pacific ocean. About it reports “Interfax” with reference to the mission control Center.


 


“Fireproof elements of the ship fell at 21:24 (GMT) in non-navigational area of the Pacific ocean with coordinates South latitude 51.21 – 232.11 East longitude”, – told in the PMU.


 


Cargo ship “Progress MS-03” docked to the ISS on 19 July 2016. He was taken to the space station 2405 pounds of goods: fuel, equipment for scientific experiments, containers with food, water and much more.


 


“Progress MS-03” include a system of protection against space debris and micrometeorites, and new integrated command and telemetry system.
