Vice-speaker of the state Duma Pyotr Tolstoy (“United Russia”) became the head of the Russian delegation in the parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for security and cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA), reports “Interfax”.

This decision was taken on Friday, January 27, at the meeting of the delegation.

Earlier it was reported that the speaker of the state Duma of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin has distributed responsibilities among its Vice-speakers. Peter Tolstoy will coordinate and monitor the committees on culture, information policy, information technologies and communication, for physical culture, sport, tourism and youth Affairs. He also organizes the cooperation with the European Parliament and the European Commission, inter-Parliamentary Union and the OSCE PA.
