Overstayers in the office apartment of former Deputy evicted forcibly

Manager of the President is preparing a lawsuit to forcibly evict the ex-Deputy Michael Zapolev (Communist party) of the service apartments. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on regulations of Mikhail Romanov, the newspaper “Izvestia” on Thursday, January 26.

“We even had one member of the seventh convocation, which was assigned to this apartment, to settle in another. Manager of the President is preparing a lawsuit to the court, the procedure is already running,” he said.

30 Dec managing Director of President Alexander Kolpakov said that former parliamentarians, who have been staying in the official accommodation, may be required to pay for the accommodation of the current deputies.

In mid-December, the leader of LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky proposed to permanently solve the housing problem of the people’s representatives, buying them for a one-bedroom apartment in the Metropolitan area Butovo.

The term of office of deputies of the sixth convocation officially expired on 4 December 2016 to vacate the apartment they had before the 15th day of the same month. By law, the office accommodation is provided to parliamentarians who do not have living space in the capital only for a period of execution of powers.
