The Russian state Duma on Friday will consider in the first reading a bill establishing a fine of 5 thousand rubles for dangerous driving.
As noted by the first Deputy Chairman of the Committee Vyacheslav Lysakov, the concept of “dangerous driving” was introduced in legislation in 2016, but in the code of administrative offences (Cao) responsibility for the offence was not provided.
The bill, which will consider the state Duma, proposes to Supplement the administrative code a new article which establishes liability in the form of administrative fine of 5 thousand rubles for dangerous driving.
It is noted that the draft law is aimed at strengthening the responsibility for violation of requirements of the Russian legislation on road safety.
According to the rules of the road, dangerous driving maneuvers include such roads as pruning, rebuilding in heavy traffic when all lanes are occupied, failure to a safe distance from the car ahead, and a lateral interval, sudden braking, preventing the overtaking.
