The development of Russian land combat equipment have raised concerns in the United States, writes about this edition of Washington Free Beacon , citing a report of the congressional Research service of the country, reports RIA Novosti.
According to the report, the U.S. army uses combat land techniques, created during the confrontation with the Soviet Union. Plans for the modernization of combat vehicles, involving billions of investments in recent years have been cancelled, as the United States have relied on other weapons. However other countries, including Russia, continued to develop land techniques.
“Countries such as Russia and China, not only modernize the existing ground combat system… but create a completely new,” – said in the text of the report.
In this regard, the authors report Research service of the Congress Express concern as to the modernization of American technology will take decades, and the situation when the Russian or Chinese land combat vehicles obviously will surpass the U.S., may occur in the coming years.
