The 16-year-old children and youth sports school № 1 of the city of Belogorsk in Amur region had a heart attack right in training. About the incident, which occurred on 25 January, reported on the website of the administration of the settlement.
A graduate of the institution felt ill during class in the section of athletics. The coach called an ambulance. Medics arrived at the scene, was diagnosed with a very serious condition of the student, provided emergency help and was taken to intensive care.
“The diagnosis of a serious heart condition. In practice, Belogorsky doctors this is the first case of a heart attack, diagnosed at 16 years”, – said the head physician of Belogorsky hospital Andrew Rud.
“Emergency assistance of all who were near, saved the teenager’s life. In that situation, the account did go in a minute,” he said.
Now the teenager is in the intensive care unit of children’s regional hospital, doctors assess his condition as stable, the patient is conscious.
