Russian President Vladimir Putin sent condolences to Prime Minister of Italy Paolo Gentiloni in connection with the death of people as a result of avalanche in the region of Abruzzo. This was reported on the Kremlin website on Friday, January 20.

“Please convey words of sincere sympathy to the families and friends of the victims. Let the courage to leave them in this difficult hour,” — said in a telegram to Russian leader.
