During a telephone conversation, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande the implementation of the Minsk dogovorennostey, the press service of the President of Russia. All parties expressed dissatisfaction with the settlement of the situation in Ukraine.
“Expressed dissatisfaction with the overall situation in the context of the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. Stated, in particular, the aggravation of the situation along the line of contact in Donbas, as well as insufficient performance in the Contact group”, – reported on the Kremlin website.
The presidents of Russia, France and Germany recognized the need to increase efforts to de-escalate the tense situation in the South-East of Ukraine. The countries agreed to work together on giving “impetus to the framework of the “channel four”.
