The Museum of trash was not injured in the fire at the solid waste landfill near Irkutsk. About it reports on Saturday, January 14, “Interfax” with reference to the press service of the city administration.
The fire occurred on 13 January at about 22:00 local time (17:00 GMT), its area has reached 1.2 thousand square meters. The result was damaged temporary wooden structures. The fire did not affect the continuous operation of the landfill. There were no injuries, special damages has not received.
The solid waste landfill is located five kilometers from Irkutsk on the Alexander tract. Its territory is a Museum of trash, with dozens of exhibits from the number of discarded objects. The Museum itself, according to its creators, the workers of the landfill, issued in the form of a medieval castle and popular not only among locals but also among tourists.
