In the state Duma explained the surveillance of the British for the “Admiral Kuznetsov”

The intention of the British Navy to escort the ship aircraft carrier group of the Navy of Russia does not contradict norms prescribed in international treaties. On Monday, January 16, “the Tape.ru” said the first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on defense Alexander Sherin.

“Basically it is for the purpose of exploration: as the performance characteristics of our ship announced”, — said the Deputy.

In his opinion, the British Navy, “wants to Flex its muscles, show what they have than us peoplewaiting”. The UK has little reason to demonstrate the capabilities of its Navy, said Sherin.

“Sailors clean plates, wearing new, ironed dress uniform, pofotografirovatsya. I think it’s just nice to bring itself into a personal matter: here we were escorting a carrier”, — summed up the MP.

On the eve of the newspaper the Daily Telegraph reported that two ships of the British Navy in a state of readiness to escort a group of ships of the Russian Navy heavy aircraft-carrying cruiser “Admiral Kuznetsov”. The publication notes that the ships and submarines of the Navy of the United Kingdom, with the support of NATO allies increasingly “lead a game of cat-and-mouse” to locate and monitor the Russian court.

On 6 January it became known that the Ministry of defence began reducing troops in Syria. It was noted that the first zone of the conflict will leave the aircraft carrier “Admiral Kuznetsov” and return to the point of permanent basing Severomorsk.

In December last year, Britain sent a frigate to monitor the Russian large anti-submarine ship “Vice-Admiral Kulakov” was returning from combat service in the Mediterranean sea. In October a group of Russian warships, led by “Admiral Kuznetsov” was accompanied by a destroyer and a frigate.
