The representative of US State Department John Kirby said that Turkey and Iran were not invited US for talks on Syria. It is reported by RIA Novosti.


 



According to Kirby, despite this, Secretary of state John Kerry intends to stay in “full contact” with their colleagues, emphasizing that not thinks the U.S. lost the initiative on Syria.


 



Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has proposed to hold a new round of talks on Syria in Astana. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev confirmed readiness to accept the talks in its capital.
