Putin promised Novgorod fishermen, that will be better 2016 2017

Russian President Vladimir Putin after the services in the Saviour Cathedral of the St. George monastery in Veliky Novgorod in Novgorod was found by fishermen. The head of state promised that the 2017 will be better than the last in 2016. It is reported by RIA Novosti.


 


“I am confident that in the coming year will be better than the one that passed,” – said the head of state.


 


Putin also emphasized that without public support there can be no success.


 


Fishermen from Novgorod, Russian President met in September 2016, when together with the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev strolled along the banks of lake Ilmen.


 


The fishermen said the head of state some funny fishing stories and invited Putin to come back to the lake Ilmen – at the spring fishing.


 


Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in the Cathedral of St. George monastery in Veliky Novgorod, where he took part in the Christmas service.
