The head EMERCOM of Russia Vladimir Puchkov has offered to deploy in Moscow in the field kitchens in the places of mass celebrations of people due to the impending severe frosts.
“Given the forecast on lowering the temperature, set the field kitchen and start for people to eat porridge and drink hot tea already today”, – said Vladimir Puchkov at a conference.
He also instructed to take special control over the utilities sector and to ensure the smooth operation of energy facilities, heat supply and system of social support of the population.
Puchkov added that the new year’s eve in the country was calm and no serious incidents have been recorded. He called emergency workers to continue working in emergency regime during all the Christmas holidays.
