Putin congratulated the workers of the security agencies with the holiday

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated employees and veterans of security agencies of the Russian Federation with their professional holiday, the press service of the Kremlin.

“This professional holiday is celebrated by those who faithfully and honestly serve the country, defend sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, ensure peace and human security. Your job requires special skills — high competence, durability, courage, readiness for any, the most difficult of tests,” — said in the telegram of the President.

As noted in a message to Putin, today the security services have significant operational, personnel and analytical capabilities.

“In fact demonstrate the ability to effectively solve crucial tasks, the main of which is the protection of Russia from external and internal threats, the fight against international terrorism and extremism, the fight against organized crime and corruption, protection of state borders,” the President said.

Putin also hopes that the officials of the security services will continue to work in good faith, honor the traditions and precepts of his predecessors, confident to achieve your goals.

The twentieth of December is celebrated as the professional holiday of employees of the Russian special services, responsible for the security of individuals, society and the state, – the Day of worker of security agencies. It is set on the basis of the presidential decree of 20 December 1995.
