Kuril Islands should become a zone of cohabitation of the Russian and Japanese citizens. Such a statement after talks with Vladimir Putin in Tokyo was made by the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe.
On the eve between Putin and Abe had reached an agreement on joint economic activities on the Kuril Islands. As stated today at the press conference Japanese Prime Minister, General activity should not be to the detriment of anyone.
“Japan and Russia should do everything for their relationship was not a loser”, – said the head of the Japanese government. For this, added Abe, Moscow and Tokyo need to build a trusting relationship and to overcome the misunderstanding.
“Russia and Japan have been able to find a way to build trust”, – concluded the Prime Minister of Japan.
