Russian Prosecutor General’s office sent Ukraine an extradition request the former co-owner of Bank “the trust” Ilya Yurov, who was wanted on charges of embezzlement, reports RIA “Novosti” with reference to the Deputy public Prosecutor Sahak Karapetian.
“Extradition request sent Yurova, not yet considered by the Ukrainian side”, — said Karapetyan.
In late November it was reported that the ex-Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC “national Bank “the trust” Ilya Yurov was detained at Kiev’s Borispol airport. In early December, the appeal court of Kyiv region called the legitimate refusal of Boryspil city district court to arrest Yurova.
