Vadim Krasnoselsky won the presidential elections in Transnistria

Chairman of the Supreme Council of Transnistria Vadim Krasnoselsky won in the first round of presidential elections in the unrecognized Republic. As reports “RIA Novosti” with reference to the CEC of Moldova, the candidate won with 62% of the vote, ahead of his main rival — the current President Yevgeny Shevchuk.

Presidential elections in the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic (PMR) held on 11 December. According to preliminary data of the CEC, the turnout was 59,16%.
