LONDON, December 12. /Offset. TASS Maxim Ryzhkov/. Russia in 2016, left the five countries with the largest defense expenditures, the newspaper the Financial Times, citing a study prepared by the specialized journal Jane’s Defence Weeekly.
“India’s desire to modernize its armed forces helped her to oust Russia among five leading countries in defense spending this year”, – the newspaper writes.
