Kuznetsova asked the transport Ministry to ban the inspectors to disembark the stowaway children

Moscow. 9 Dec. INTERFAX.RU — the Commissioner of the President of Russia for children’s rights Anna Kuznetsova asked the transport Minister Maxim Sokolov to prohibit supervisors in public transport to drop the kids off in the cold due to the lack of tickets or proof of exemption documents.

“According to the Commissioner, knowingly leaving the conductor and driver of the bus a young child in danger can be considered a crime”, — is spoken in the message of press-service of Ombudsman for children, arrived in “Interfax” on Friday.

It is noted that such actions can be construed as abandonment in danger (article 125 of the criminal code) or as services that do not meet safety requirements (article 238 of the criminal code).

The press service reminded that in recent years it has been registered several cases in Perm, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk and Moscow, when young children alighting from buses for fare evasion or because of lack of identity documents or proof of exemption.

“The children landed on the carriageway at night in difficult weather conditions. Thus, their life and health is a great risk,” — said in the message.
