South Korean President expressed his willingness to resign

South Korean President Park Geun-Hye, around which broke the corruption scandal, said that her fate must decide the country’s Parliament.

In a televised address to the nation, she apologized for the incident and stressed that in case of need ready to resign before the end of the presidential term in 2018.

On 20 November, the Prosecutor’s office has disseminated preliminary results of the investigation in the case of a friend of the President Choi sung-SIL.

She and two former employees of the presidential administration charged with corruption, extortion and abuse of power.

It is assumed that they made more than 50 South Korean companies to transfer tens of millions of dollars in two controlled Choi sung-SIL of the Fund.

The investigators believe that the President knew what was happening. In South Korea previously held mass protests, during which demonstrators demanded the resignation of the President.
