The defense Ministry expressed protest to Ukraine because of the planned firings
The Russian defense Ministry expressed protest in connection with introduction by Ukraine of illegal restrictions on the use of airspace over the Black sea. About it RIA Novosti reported the defense Ministry.
Thursday, November 24, the Russian defense Ministry was invited by attache of defense at the Embassy of Ukraine in Russia for delivery to military and diplomatic notes.
“He passed the document protesting the Russian defense Ministry in connection with the introduction of the Ukrainian side of illegal restrictions on the use of 1 and 2 December 2016 airspace over the Black sea to the West coast of the Crimean Peninsula for “conducting missile firings,” the message reads.
As stressed in the defense Ministry, the Ukrainian side claimed the South-Eastern border of the danger zone violate sea border, which is a violation of international law and Russian legislation.
Earlier the Rosaviation has demanded from Kiev immediate cancellation of the issued notifications to activate a threat zones in the airspace. The Ministry said that such actions of the Ukrainian side violates the requirements of a number of international acts and pose a danger to civil aviation.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine has decided to conduct missile firing over the high seas and in the airspace of Russia in the Crimea. They are scheduled on 1 and 2 December.
Adviser to the head of Federal air transport Agency Sergei Izvolsky said that to close the sky over the Crimea for flight due to the intentions of Kiev to conduct a missile firing in early December, not planned.
