Zyuganov expressed his condolences in connection with the death of Fidel Castro

The head of the Communist party, Gennady Zyuganov, expressed his condolences in connection with death of the leader of the Cuban revolution Fidel Castro. About it reports TASS.

“Left one of the titans of politics, the statesman, the man who laid the foundations of moral policy, a policy that first and foremost cared about the common man, a decent life for workers and happy world,” — said Zyuganov. He added that Castro is the authority and example for all mankind.

Communist party leader said that repeatedly met with Castro and admired him. “On the one hand, to withstand the pressure of a shark, which is the United States, being 90 miles from Florida, you have to have tremendous courage and heroism. On the other hand, he suffered a lot of attacks and survive in this difficult world, thanks to his courage and the support of the people,” — said Zyuganov.

Fidel Castro has died at 91-year life on 25 November. His death was announced by the head of Cuba Raul Castro, in an address on national television. The body of the leader of the revolution, according to his will, to be cremated.

In August, the leader of the Cuban revolution marked the 90th anniversary. In 2006, due to illness, Castro temporarily handed power to his brother Raul, who then has full charge of the country in 2008.
