Russian experts proved the rebels had used mustard gas against civilians in Aleppo

Russian military experts have proved that in Aleppo, Syria militants used against the civilian population of poison mustard gas. This was stated by the experts of the troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the armed forces, reports RIA Novosti.


 


“Express analysis of content was conducted using a portable infrared spectrometer showed the presence of a chemical warfare agent skin-blister agents mustard gas,” he told them.


 


It is noted that mustard gas was applied in September in the village of Marat-Mind-Haouch there was discovered an unexploded chemical ordnance. It is a homemade 240-mm mine with the filler neck in the rear. Its contents – a black oily liquid with volumes from 0.5 to 1.5 liters.

Earlier it was reported that experts from the Ministry of defence confirmed the use in Aleppo and other toxic substances – chlorine and white phosphorus. This was accomplished through the rapid identification of nine samples.
