The Minister of defence of Finland sees no threat in the missile complexes of the Russian Federation on the Baltic sea

The Minister of defence of Finland Jussi Niinistö does not consider the threat of the deployment of Russian missile system in the Baltic sea region. About it RIA Novosti reported with reference to Agence France-Presse.


 


However, Niinisto noted that certain negative actions can lead to a specific, though random events.


 


“I wouldn’t want to speculate, but it is obvious that Finland as an EU member is obliged to help, and it also means that Finland will also get support in time of crisis,” he said.


 


The Minister also underlined that does not observe the Russian leadership and the inclination to threats against Finland.


 


Earlier official representative of the military Department major General Igor Konashenkov confirmed the deployment of Iskander in the Kaliningrad region in the framework of improving the training of missile troops. According to him, the complex is mobile, and brought him near Kaliningrad, “without making it a big secret”.
