The approval rating of Putin has updated the maximum for the year

The approval rating of Russian President Vladimir Putin in November reached 86 percent. This is evidenced by the results of the survey “Levada-Center”, published on Wednesday, November 23.

This figure is the highest this year. 14 percent of respondents approve of the job the Russian leader.

The activities of the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is supported by 52 percent of survey participants. The approval rating of the government as a whole — 50 percent, the state Duma — 44 percent.

56 percent of residents believe that things in the country going in the right direction, 26 percent believe that Russia is moving in the wrong direction, 18 percent were undecided.

The survey was conducted 18-21 November 2016 among 1,600 people aged 18 years and older in 137 localities of the country. The error does not exceed 3.4 percent.

Putin has repeatedly made clear that he did not know whether to be re-elected for a new term (elections will be held in 2018). At the same time, he said that the future leader of the country “must be a young man, but Mature”.
