NASA engineers have completed Assembly of the largest space telescope
The head of NASA Charles Bolden announced the completion of the space telescope “James Webb”.

The American space Agency proceeds with the test. The start of the mission is scheduled for October 2018.
“James Webb” is the largest space telescope. The diameter of its mirror is 6.5 meters. For comparison, the Hubble telescope has a mirror diameter of 2.4 meters.
The telescope named after James Webb, the second head of NASA, who headed the Agency in 1961-1968. In the development of the telescope took part experts of the European and Canadian space agencies.
