Demonstration flight of the new fighter took place in the framework opened the international aerospace show Airshow China in 2016 in Zhuhai (Guangdong province). In addition to “Jian-20”, China is developing another fifth generation fighter aircraft — the “Jian-31” (J-31). As reported earlier by RIA Novosti, the head of the Department of the air force of the Russian Federation Sergey Kornev, the China export fifth generation fighter aircraft J-31 will fly on Russian engines RD-93. Fighter J-31 first flew in the air October 31, 2012, is now continuing its active development.
