Ex-Prosecutor of the Leningrad region suspected of taking bribes of 20 million rubles

TFR opened a criminal case against dismissed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin from the post of Prosecutor of the Leningrad region Stanislav Ivanov on part 6, item 290 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“bribe reception in especially large size”). About it reports a press-service SK of the Russian Federation.


 


The former Prosecutor of the Leningrad region is suspected of bribery amounting to at least 20 million rubles. According to investigators, Ivanov on a post of the public Prosecutor in 2014-2016 monthly received cash in the amount of 500 thousand rubles to one million rubles from one of the owners “for General patronage and connivance in the service.”


 


“At the request of Ivan’s owner got him a new expensive car “Toyota Camry” within two years paid a Parking place for personal car and also paid for at least two tours overseas for family attorney in the amount of more than two million rubles,” – noted in press service.


 


The consequence has directed to court the petition for election concerning Ivanova measures of restraint in form of detention.


 


Earlier Stanislav Ivanov was dismissed from the post of Prosecutor of the Leningrad region by the decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
